Break patterns, discover new solutions
Many organizations struggle with the same challenges: teams stuck in fixed patterns, endless meetings that lead nowhere, and a serious atmosphere where fun and energy have disappeared. We call this terminal seriousness.
The result? Predictable solutions with little support — and a rigidity that blocks real progress.
As a keynote speaker and founder of ConsultingKids, Bas Warmerdam shows that things can truly be different.
Combining his background in strategy consulting with over ten years of experience translating complex challenges into the world of children, he demonstrates how the open-minded creativity of kids can unlock fresh thinking on leadership, change, innovation, collaboration, workplace joy, and more.
In his keynotes and workshops, you’ll discover how to break through resistance, bring new energy into your team, and find surprisingly effective solutions — all by thinking with a fresh, childlike perspective.

Whether it’s artificial intelligence, sustainability and ESG, diversity and inclusion, leadership in times of disruption, mental well-being, the future of work, cybersecurity, the circular economy, stakeholder governance, user experience, ethical leadership, digital transformation, purpose-driven culture, organizational trust, social impact, data ethics — or even quantum technology.

I love it!
Your sessions completely, lifts the room, and it also opens the floodgates to communicate with each other. There's a whole different culture spreading amongst the audience. A complete flow of energy and everyone loves it.

Highly recommended!
This approach makes things playful, surprising, and full of fresh ideas. As adults, we tend to approach things the same way over and over again — this method opens up completely new perspectives. It’s wonderful to look at serious challenges with such a fresh, lighthearted view.Truly recommended!

Playfully translating complex research questions. I loved it!
Research questions on 1) corticosteroid modification to retain anti-inflammatory effects while avoiding systemic side effects, 2) circadian-driven activation of brown adipose tissue for targeted drug discovery, and 3) therapeutic strategies to reduce hepatic inflammation and lipid accumulation in metabolic steatohepatitis.
We got an atmosphere where people started to play playfully get together and think of translating research in questions that schoolchildren would be able to solve.
I loved it!

This should be a regular thing for every organization
when you make it simple and you got to explain it to a 10 year old, you don't explain all of the fluff. You go straight to the core. Very refreshing, interesting and fun. Especially for a group of consultants that use big words to explain simple problems. IBM is a huge American conglomerate with layers of bureaucracy and rules, and you sort of lose sight that things aren't that difficult. Please come again!

A joy to start tackling organizational challenges this way
Bas shows — both through his method and his book — that we’re often stuck in our own context. Breaking free from that helps me see challenges differently and approach them with renewed energy and joy.Organizational and development questions have become a true pleasure to dive into again!

All Keynotes & Workshops are provided by Bas Warmerdam. He is the founder of ConsultingKids and has been working with this concept for over ten years.
During that time, he gave hundreds of keynotes and workshops, and described his experiences in the book 'Little consultants'. He is therefore the right person to provide these sessions — full of practical examples, familiar stories and answers to all questions you can think of.
And perhaps just as important: Bas likes to be on stage and visibly enjoys every session. You'll notice that right away.
Bas is regularly asked for leadership programs, conferences, symposia, inspiration sessions, management retreats, team meetings, lunch meetings and more, at home and abroad.
Yes! Bas is asked throughout the Netherlands for sessions from Texel to Maastricht and from Zeeland to Groningen. This is for large corporates such as Philips, Shell or Toyota and hundreds of (semi) public organizations.
In addition, Bas provides Keynotes & Workshops around the world. From Amsterdam to Sydney, and from Tokyo to New York. The condition is that travel and accommodations are safe and the language of instruction during the sessions is English (or Dutch).
This possibility is certainly there. How nice when participants have something in their hands afterwards where they can read tips & tricks, great practical examples and more! If you let us know at the intake how many books you would like to purchase, we will incorporate this into the offer. On-site signing is also possible
